SPECIAL NOTICES
FACILITIES
For this event MX of Marion County will be combining the main track and
the vintage track to make an extra long track just for this race. The entire pit area
is plush grass and has some very large oak trees along one side and in
the middle of the pit area. The facility has a bike wash area, which is
located at the far end of the row of trees in the middle of the pit
area. The water used for the bike wash is not for drinking. No
electrical hook-ups.
You can park anywhere in the pit area, except in the bleacher area,
which is reserved for food and accessory vendors.
NEAR FATAL EXTREME GEAR will be at the track on both days.. They offer their own line of riding and sports gear.
Check out their website at
http://www.nearlyfatal.com/

Bobby Williams of Pro-Action Suspension will be there with the support
trailer. Call Bobby in advance if you need any special suspension
work done on the day of the race. (863) 412-6630.
Jim
Edgar has been covering this race for the past 3 years, and has taken
some great action pictures. Copies of these pictures along with an
action-packed race story are included in this website. Jim is also
a contributing reporter for Cycle News and FLMX Magazine. You can contact Jim Edgar directly at
mx546@bellsouth.net.
There is absolutely no pit riding allowed at any time. Racers may ride
their motorcycle to and from the starting area, but first gear only, and not over
5 MPH. No burnouts allowed unless first approved by a track
official. Pets are discouraged, but if you have one it must be
leased and muzzled if it is outside your trailer or RV (no exceptions).
Riders not being accompanied by their parents or legal guardian must
have a completed and notarized Minor Release Form and medical . You can
click here to get a copy of this form.
FLMX Magazine will be there to cover the race action.
